Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo Hashim Thaçi hosted by Prime Minister of Norway Jens Stoltenberg on the second day of his visit
Prishtina, November 30, 2011 noa/ Rid Bulku - The key topics of discussions during the meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, and the Prime Minister of Norway, Jens Stoltenberg, covered bilateral relations between Kosovo and Norway and further advancing of these relations in fields of joint interest and the Norwegian support of Kosovo in terms of new recognitions for the state of Kosovo and its Euro-Atlantic integration process. The Prime Minister of Norway, Jens Stoltenberg, welcomed the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, to Norway, the first visit of a Kosovo prime minister to this Scandinavian state, NOA.al News Agency reports. During the meeting with Prime Minister Thaçi, Norwegian Prime Minister Stoltenberg reiterated the support of the Norwegian Government for the consolidation and strengthening of the democratic state of Kosovo and expressed in favor of the continuation of the Norwegian support for Kosovo with regards to new recognitions for the state of Kosovo and expressed support for the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Kosovo. The Norwegian Prime Minister, Stoltenberg, pointed out during the meeting with Prime Minister Thaçi the support of the Norwegian Government for a sustainable economic development in Kosovo. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, thanked his counterpart, the Prime Minister of Norway, Jens Stoltenberg, for the continuous support that Norway has given Kosovo, and especially for an immediate recognition of its independence and for helping increase the number of new recognitions of the new state of Kosovo. Prime Minister Thaçi expressed during the meeting with the Norwegian Prime Minister the need to further advance the cooperation between Kosovo and Norway and exchange of experience in various fields like economy, education, justice and other fields of joint interest. Focusing on the commitment to implement the vision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for a sustainable economic development, Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi called on all the Norwegian investors to invest in the Republic of Kosovo pointing out that Kosovo as a new state offers huge opportunities for international commercial investments. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, and the Prime Minister of Norway, Jens Stoltenberg, signed an interstate agreement of cooperation between Kosovo and Norway.
