Total of 48 flights are cancelled until further notice
Tirana, April 18 NOA - Tirana International Airport (TIA) announces today, Sunday 18 April 2010, that all flights in to and from the Airport are cancelled as a result of the ash emanating from the volcano in Iceland that erupted on Wednesday 14 April.
All flights are cancelled until further notice.
TIA states that a total 48 flights (24 departures and 24 arrivals) were scheduled for today. Passengers are advised to contact their airline or travel agent for further information concerning their trip.
Tirana International Airport will keep its passengers informed with further developments.
