Government of Albania approved today the decision “On adopting construction eurocodes”
Tirana, July 6, 2011 NOA - The construction eurocodes include a set of European common standards covering building design and civil engineering.
The use of the eurocodes will enable a notable improvement in the field of building design.
The adaptation of the eurocodes and promoting them into the Albanian standard will bring about improvements in seismic designs, the design rules on building with steel, concrete, timber as well as geotechnical design and safety in case of fire.
The adaptation of eurocodes is the basis of bringing into harmony the Albanian standards with the European standards in the field of construction.
