Executive Director, Tradeshows Leaves After Record Breaking Tenure Macau, 27 July 2011 NOA – Charlie Greco, formerly Executive Director of Tradeshows -Asia for The Five Star Integrated Resort, Venetian Macau announced today that he was leaving to pursue new opportunities. Greco was responsible for attracting a record number of 15 mega-size tradeshows to the property in a four month timeframe, earning two Industry Awards in the process. The India STAR AWARD was awarded to Greco by Triune Exhibitors Pvt. Ltd, and most recently, it was announced that he will receive India's most prestigious Event Industry Award from "The Event & Entertainment Management Association" for his "contribution to the globalization of India's tradeshow's and events." "My time at The Venetian Macau was fabulous;" said Greco. "What an incredible property! I was proud to be a part of that fine organization:" he continued. "I was blessed with an incredible run there and I am leaving after "walking on the moon," he said. "I'm looking for the next great opportunity," he said. "The bigger the challenge, anywhere in the world, suits me just fine," he continued. Greco has more than 25 years of experience as an international tradeshow producer and has coveted many international awards for his accomplishments. He has produced a number the largest events in America, and as an industry luminary, he was identified by The Boston Herald as "one of the most influential people in the tradeshow industry today." He has graced the cover of numerous trade publications and his opinions revered by the likes of The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Fox News, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and many other business and industry trade magazines and news outlets. He maintains a personal office in Macau located at The AIA Tower in Downtown Macau.
