He focused on the issue of choosing the President, saying that 2012 has more important issues, such as the 100 anniversary of independence. Among other, he reacted about the newspaper publications “La Republica”, pointed out that there is nothing true in its publications. During his speech, the lider of LSI said that the paper will apologize him in the public and it would pay 50 thousand euros. Yesterday it was learned that the lider of the Socialist Movement for Integration, Ilir Meta, has sued for defamation the Italian newspaper “La Republica”. The claim for defamation, in Italian courts, comes after the publication of an interview with Italian daily newspaper “La Repubblica”, regarding to Lavitola scandal.
